Instellar Journey - Chapter 1 - Ashore

Waves flushed between my legs; I could feel the cold sensation of the water even with my wetsuit. After a few minutes of regaining my stability I stood up and the ocean that embodied me left through my legs. I took out my GPS to check if it miraculously survived, furiously I threw it in the floor. I studied my surroundings. I slowly whispered "It appears to be a basin of an Island". It was the peak of the afternoon. Suddenly my stomach roar for food. With no haste I went inside the jungle, but weirdly enough enough it looked more like a forest than a tropical landscape. There was not a single sound or sight from a animal. As I examine the inside; I quickly spotted fruits or at least some kind of eatable object. With no hesitation I climbed the tree bursting great strength throwing a couple of them in the floor. When I went back down I sat and like a maniac I devour the fruit without examining for toxicity or any harmful materials it may have. After a rest I decided to search and see what this strange land had in store for me. Night approach. With no tools in hand; I scratched the softest wood I found and made myself a knife and torch. Took some leaves and pieces of my shirt to cover up my bleeding nails. As I slam two rocks to create sparks. I felt this odd feeling that I was being watch. Spooked; I slammed the hardest projecting both rocks to hit each other. Eventfully I lighted up the piece of wood; suddenly I heard a voice with a dialect I never heard before. It sounded like the screeching sound of a bat with the cry of a person being elongated by cars with his hands and feet cuffed to ropes. With nothing left I decided to followed the voices. After a few hours of hiding, and following; I was able to caught up to the source of the sound. I move in closer to a grassy area. I spotted two individuals with teal robes speaking in some bizarre and ungodly dialect. They seem to have camp for the night. I decided to do the same. Hours later; I woke up. The strange individuals were still at sleep or at least I hope. Their bodies seem to illuminate some kind of yellowish mist whenever they slept. As dawn approach I got woke up. The strange beings seem to have started earlier than me. Thankfully I was still able to see, and caught up to them. The creatures stopped at a small pond, and they appear to have become liquid. Scared I thought for a moment of what happen. I ran up to the pond to check it was some kind of portal. I push my hand inside the pond, but all I found was a hard surface below it. Deciding what to do I came to the conclusion that this strange beings must have some kind of special ability that let's them do such phenomena. Lifting myself I decided to walk a couple more hours, but with the thought of what I had just witnessed.
